Here are tips from Symantec that share the recipe three easy steps to help protect your accounts and Apple devices. Step 1. Enable Touch ID fingerprint recognition

Step 3. Use two-step verification
Key words alone are not enough to protect you. Symantec recommends using a two-step verification. Attackers routinely targeting Apple device owners with phishing scams to steal keywords and Apple user ID. Two-step verification (also known as two-factor authentication) only as an additional layer of protection for your Apple ID. To enable two-step verification, go to your Apple ID and select the Password and Security. You will be prompted to register a trusted device, such as mobile phone or tablet.
