1 . Transparent Bar
Google now has removed the black color that is around three virtual buttons Android touch . Third KitKat touch virtual buttons now appear transparent to the display color to match the color of the wallpaper that you wear .
2 . Google Now
Google Now application that was first there in Jelly Bean has now migrated into one part of the homescreen panels .
3 . Icon menu
To get a fresh and memorable look brighter , Google has changed the background of the app drawer from its original KitKat black becomes transparent . While the size KitKat menu icons now also become larger . This measure makes changes to the number of icons was reduced from its original KitKat 5x5 into a 4x5 .
4 . Widget
While in order to display the menu page looks much simpler , Google Apps and Widgets tab to get rid of the menu page . 7 . Phone App
The menu calls KitKat get updates to the default display alphabet keypad . Unlike the previous versions of Android , Google seems to want to encourage users to make calls by typing the contact's name rather than entering the phone number . With the implementation of this alphabet keypad users will be encouraged to save all the numbers into Google contact list first before making a call . 8 . Caller ID By Google
In addition to the update side of the display , the menu calls on KitKat is also equipped with Caller ID by Google that gives the user the possibility to discover the identity of telephone numbers even though the number is not stored in the contact list . When users register their phone numbers on one of the Google services like Google+ , Gmail , Hangout and so on , then the identity of the user by default will be recorded by Google and can be easily found by other users who use this service . But if you do not want your phone number is known by others , you can easily disable it by following these steps :
- Go to the menu by selecting the icon telephone calls .
- Choose three vertical dots mark right corner and tap settings menu .
- The next step enter the Caller ID by Google and tap the Google Account Settings .
- Chrome browser will open automatically and you will be brought into the settings page . Scroll down to the bottom of the menu screen Phone then uncheck the box next to the words " Help people wo have your phone number find and connect with you on Google services , like Hangouts and caller ID by Google " .
